The Role

Key Responsibilities L1 production support for Oracle databases in a 24x7 banking environment. Database monitoring, health checks, alerts, sessions, locks and tablespaces. User/role/privilege management. RMAN backup monitoring and basic recovery support. Basic SQL troubleshooting and long-running query monitoring. Monitor Oracle jobs and database logs. Basic troubleshooting of RAC / Data Guard / ASM issues and escalation to L2/L3. Linux/Unix basic administration and shell commands. Incident, change and service-request handling through ITSM tools. Follow SOPs, SLA and escalation procedures. Must Have 2–4 years hands-on Oracle DBA production support. Oracle 11g/12c/19c. RMAN, SQL, Linux/Unix. Tablespace, session, lock and performance monitoring. Basic RAC/Data Guard knowledge. Banking/BFSI production experience preferred. Good communication and willingness to work in shifts.
